From Moscow with Creativity: Maksim's Journey
“I’m calling from Russia, Moscow! I’m a student at the moment. I study literature and also some philosophy,” shares our creative user who’s found a new ally in their writing journey.
Writing a Dark Fantasy Book
“I’m writing my own dark fantasy book… I wrote, I think half of my book so far, it’s a very complex and interesting project. I always wanted to write my own historical dark fantasy book. And it’s a great opportunity to use some modern technologies to improve the process and make it easier.”
“Actually, the browser helps me to collect all the information about my book and to keep notes about the plot and different aspects of my book in a structured way. Also, sometimes it’s useful to correct my grammar! I use AI in the browser to check some grammar and have it corrected. I created a specific prompt to, let’s say, check my text and find some issues.”
“I can spend more time on writing my book, instead of endless editing. Chat is very useful, especially when I need to chat with all information I stored in it, for example, some plot twists connected with some characters I wrote about previously… I think lots of book writers can use the browser for their creativity.”
“And also I wrote some notes for this interview in Smart Notes!”
What Do You Keep in Your Stuff?
“Stuff is great. It’s something like a file manager. I store a lot of things there. But it’s more personal than an average file storage. Because Surf allows me to store all my stuff about the book in one place, I have some historical sources, I have articles related to my book, and also some ideas for it, and maybe todo lists. Here is something about my book. The draft of my book. And pictures for inspiration.”
“Bookmarks in other browsers use folders, and it’s easier to get lost in it. But in this browser, it’s way easier to search for things. I have one context for saved tweets. One for my email, also a specific one for softwares to store them in one place. Also, I use the browser to read some news. For example, I can ask AI to summarize — ‘what are some news for today’ — and see what’s happening in the world?”
Surflets, AI, and Other Good Uses!
“I have tried surflets, and I also play Dungeons and Dragons a lot — It was very useful to make a dice roller — I can just click the button and roll the dice. I am excited with this feature because it stores it in my browser, and there is no need to search in Google for dice roller online, I can just open my browser and roll the dice.”
“I have another simple game. To throw the dice, and if it’s less than three, a frog eats it and the score is increasing by throws that are more than four. I find it really interesting that I can create my own games with just words. I can say what I want and get actually a working game.”
“During the Chinese New Year Festival in Moscow, I needed to find some events which fit my schedule, among lots of different events in my city. But when I visited the official site, there are lots of events in different times, in one day. So I asked the browser to filter events by my available time slots. Then it extracted exactly what I needed from this complex schedule.”
