Limhi, from law graduate to life guide

School of law & life

“I went to law school and graduated in 2014. I was interviewing with law firms, took the bar exam… but I had an interview with one lawyer who said, ‘You’re going to have the biggest impact doing that thing people naturally come to you for.’ People weren’t coming to me for legal advice or business strategies. They were coming to me with their stories, their struggles. That’s when it clicked—I was meant to help people get unstuck. So I left law to do this.”

Collecting Wisdom

“I’ve always been a sponge for knowledge, reading everything from spiritual texts to neuroscience… At 15, I started reading sacred texts from all over the world—Bible, Qur’an, Bhagavad Gita—anything I could find. It gave me this foundation of principles for living a happier life or keeping hope alive… My role is to ask questions, to listen deeply—not just to what they say, but how they say it—and guide them to reflect. They find the courage to move forward on their own.”

“When I’m not with clients, I’m researching, taking notes, and turning insights into blog posts or advice I can share. That’s where Surf has been a game changer for me.”

Synthesizing with Surf

“I love that it’s set up in containers. For instance, I have a folder for all my YouTube highlights, or even for GIFs. I know exactly where everything is.

It’s simple, but it works. I don’t have to think about where to save things or jump between tools—it keeps me in flow… I can trust it to surface what I need, even when I forget where I saved it. It’s so nice to see everything in one place. It might seem like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference in staying focused… I don’t have to become a system admin of my own notes anymore.”
